Welcome to KDT’s 2022 Summer Session! We are excited to be offering hybrid classes this Summer, meaning that students can learn with us from anywhere. In order to ensure the continued health and safety of our community as the pandemic persists, we are requiring all in-person students to wear a mask in-studio and provide proof of vaccination to participate. Our goal with this 8-week session is to offer a positive and fulfilling creative outlet for dancers of all abilities.
New dancers will be introduced to the fundamentals of classical Kathak dance with a focus on its technique, terminology, and execution of dance syllables along with elements of storytelling. Current dancers will have the opportunity to maintain their skill level and improve their technique in preparation for the Fall.
Kathak is so much more than a dance style. It promotes artistic expression and creativity; increases flexibility, agility, and grace; establishes strong mind-body connections and coordination; and provides important cultural context and knowledge. It is also adaptable to any skill level––all are welcome!
How to enroll:
Current students: Submit your tuition payment by June 10, no registration necessary.
