KDT COVID-19 Safety Measures and Student Code of Conduct
The following is an updated (as of 2023) list of safety guidelines that Katha Dance Theatre is using for all in-person students. Please note that KDT will be following best practices set by the CDC and Minnesota Department of Health, which may change at any moment. Any changes to this policy will be communicated to students via email.
- Masking in the studio is encouraged by all, regardless of vaccination status. Proof of vaccination is no longer required.
- In the event that a student or teacher tests positive for COVID-19, they are asked to teach or learn from home in order to ensure everyone’s continued health and safety. They are also asked not to return in-person until they test negative and/or are no longer contagious (current CDC guidelines recommend 5 days of isolation). Please wear a mask to class until 11 days have passed since your positive test.
- As always, students are asked to bring their own water bottles to class as they will not have access to a water fountain.
- If KDT is forced to shut down all in-person activities due to the rising threat of COVID-19, classes will be moved to a virtual format until further notice.
