Katha Dance Theatre Presents: Kathak Dance Classes for Kids and Adults – Spring Session Starts April 9

This semester, we’re excited to be offering three classes, all taught by KDT instructor and Company member Shilpi Chatterjee:

What Students Will Learn:
A full dance choreography
Basic hand movements (hastas), rhythmic footwork (tatkar), and elegant spins (chakkars)
Core elements of Kathak infused with culture, rhythm, and creativity
Presented by Katha Dance Theatre, this class is a wonderful opportunity for youth 13+ and adults to experience the grace and joy of Kathak!
